Founded in 2024, Nomadic Well Child (NWC) began as a community-driven response to the pressing needs of children suffering from preventable health conditions. With a focus on cerebral palsy and malnutrition, NWC has established vital programs that elevate health awareness and provide access to both preventative and curative medical services in Garissa County.

Our Vision
NWC envisions a world where every child, regardless of health challenges or socioeconomic background, has access to the resources and support needed for a healthy, fulfilling life. By prioritizing issues such as cerebral palsy, malnutrition, sexual and gender-based violence, and preventive and promotive health services, we strive to create lasting positive change in Garissa, Kenya.

Objectives:
Enhance Access to Healthcare: Provide comprehensive medical care and therapy for children with cerebral palsy and other health challenges.
Support Early Intervention: Implement early intervention programs to address developmental delays and promote optimal growth.
Promote Nurturing Care & Nutritional Health: Combat malnutrition through education, resources, and support for families to ensure healthy diets for children.
Raise Awareness on Gender-Based Violence: Educate communities about the effects of sexual and gender-based violence, promoting prevention and support strategies.
Foster Community Support: Build a network of understanding and advocacy among families, healthcare providers, and community members.
Advocate for inclusive policies: work towards policy changes that promote the rights and needs of vulnerable children in Garissa County.
